A spaceship crashlands on a faraway planet. Unfortunately, the natives are so far in advance of Earth that the human survivors are ignored. Somehow, the humans need to get attention and persuade the locals to help them. Luckily, their AI knows of a secret mission payload that might help both locals and humans. The planet is strange in that there are no predators larger than insects although one human loses an arm in a tree!
