Sammy the Cat is a horror story/creepypasta written by Joseph "JosephTheSnail" Arrington that revolves around a mysterious DVD of an obscure show.
In late November, the narrator inherits a home and finds a DVD while clearing out the estate of their great-aunt. The DVD, titled “Sammy the Cat,” was from 2019, which was dumbfounding because the great-aunt passed away in 2020.
The show features a person in a homemade cat costume. The cat, predominantly white with black patches and spots, has large cheeks, googly eyes, and stitches on the front portion of the body.
The show starts with the cat staring at the camera for a long time before the screen goes white. It then cuts to the costumed man eating from a bowl of what appears to be raw meat. Afterward, the man leaves the frame and returns, holding the hand of a masked woman.
It’s suggested to be more than just an indie film.
